I really like the idea of getting the students active along with actually explaining the rules of the game. When I was in elementary school, my PE teacher would get mad whenever we didn't already know how to play a game, like football or basket ball. Does it look like I know how to play any of that, especially when I was like 9 or 10?! So I think it's great that you planned on actually explaining it to them instead of just expecting them to know. Unfortunately, since I am going to be a math teacher, I really don't see a way for me to be able to use it in the future. But I will keep in mind the idea of getting the students up and moving around because that always seems to help.
